The Shcherbinsky District Court of Moscow arrested Daria Shavelkina until February 4, 2021, who is accused of murdering an infant, TASS reports, citing the court’s press service.
30-year-old Shavelkina is accused of throwing the two-month-old daughter of her acquaintances from the 13th floor. As reported in the Investigative Committee, this happened on December 4 in New Moscow. According to Life Shot, Shavelkina came to visit her friend, at some point went into the bathroom where the girl was sleeping, and then threw her out of the window. The child died. Shavelkina was unable to explain her motives to the investigators.
Daria Shavelkina is seven months pregnant, according to a TASS source in law enforcement. Life writes that Shavelkina was diagnosed with polymorphic psychotic disorder, but this was not officially confirmed.
