A painful blow for Russia: enemy logistics were critically damaged in the occupied territories

November 4,c 2024

The October 27 and 31 strikes on the occupied territories became critical for Russian logistics.

The adviser to the mayor of Mariupol emphasized the importance of these attacks for slowing down the Russian offensive and inspiring Ukrainians who remained in the temporarily occupied territories.

A series of strikes on October 27 and 31 in Russian-occupied territories made it impossible for the port and railway in Berdyansk to operate for military logistics. Critical damage was inflicted.

Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, emphasized this on Channel 24, noting that he hopes that such an example of successive strikes will be scaled up in all territories occupied by Russia, which will slow down the advance of the Russian army and prevent the invaders from feeling free while developing logistics.

Consequences of the attack on Berdyansk port

On October 31, one of the ships was damaged in the port of the Russian-occupied city of Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia region, due to an unmanned aerial vehicle strike. Currently, there is no ship in the port.

“From October 31, the occupiers began to take them out of the port, including the ship that was damaged. The power supply was actually destroyed by hitting the substation, which was also probably one of the targets, because the operation of the Berdyansk port is cut off due to its destruction, cargo traffic becomes impossible – unloading works, ” Andryushchenko explained.

Currently, repairs are underway at the site of the impact, how long it will take to carry out is unknown. The adviser to the mayor of Mariupol said that as a result of the attack on the port, the occupiers were injured because industrial warehouses were hit.

According to Andryushchenko, this was a fairly successful attack. He also emphasized that this is a story that greatly inspires Ukrainians who are currently in the occupied territories.

Hitting the railway bridge and tanker trucks

On the eve of October 27, a railway bridge was blown up , which connected Berdyansk with Tokmak and primarily provided logistics to the port. This hit made it impossible for the occupiers to use the port and railway for military logistics today.

In addition, on October 27, near Tokmak, a train transporting fuel by tankers was damaged. This shot was also very accurate. As Andryushchenko said, several tanks were burned to the ground. All these events on October 27 and 31, in his opinion, should be considered as a link in a single chain, because critical damage was done to the military logistics of the Russians.
