On Victory Day, the occupation authorities erected a monument to Joseph Stalin in the captured Melitopol, Zaporizhia region.

As Censor.NET reports  with reference to hromadske , local resources, as well as the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, wrote about this.

There is a plaque on the monument with the inscription: “To the organizer and inspirer of the victory of the Soviet people over the German-fascist invaders, Generalissimo of the Soviet Union Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin from grateful descendants.”

According to the Russian party, the opening was addressed by a Russian protege, local “deputy” Oleg Slyusarenko. Students from a local school also came to the event and laid flowers at the Stalin monument.

This monument was erected after the approval of representatives of the occupation “city administration” of Melitopol. Джерело: https://censor.net/ua/n3551255
