Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy met with schoolboy Zakhar Shchurk, who developed a portable charging station for the military.
The city will look for options to expand the production of the schoolboy so that as many defenders as possible can use such mobile charging.
The “Leo Energy” charging station can work in the field and charge quadcopters, walkie-talkies and other necessary equipment. The power bank itself can be charged from the included solar panel, or from a 220 W charger or cigarette lighter. It has four USB inputs, one car and one regular outlet.
“The product is made in Lviv and we will do everything possible to manufacture it in larger quantities so that our military will attack the enemy with even greater force,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy.
Zakhar Shchurko is a student of the tenth grade of the Lviv “Prestige” gymnasium. With the money he saved for a laptop and a bicycle, he made a portable charging station for devices. Learned by watching online video tutorials and reading technical articles. the guy spends about UAH 20,000 and seven days of work to make one station.
