During a nighttime UAV attack on the Kyiv region, Ukrinform agency journalist Tatyana Kulik and her husband, head of the surgery department No. 3 of the Bogomolets National Medical University, professor Pavel Ivanchev, were killed.

“A Russian drone hit her house in the Bucha district, causing a fire,” the Ukrinform agency said in a Telegram message .

It is noted that Tatyana Kulik is the author and host of the project “Nation of the Invincible”, who served as the editor-in-chief of the Main Editorial Board of Multimedia. “She was an experienced journalist, also held the position of host of the “Central Channel” (KGTRK), the World Radio Broadcasting Service of Ukraine, a TV host of Public Broadcasting and was a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine,” the report says.

Colleagues expressed their condolences to the family and noted that her untimely death shocked colleagues and was a huge loss for the agency.

“As we learned from neighbors, Pavel Ivanchev was probably at home with his wife Tatyana at the time of the fire,” the report says. It says that rescuers have extinguished the fire, and investigative actions are continuing at the scene.
