On the night of November 19, the Russian Federation launched a massive combined strike on the territory of Ukraine, with the western regions being the main focus of the attack.

It is known to date that Lviv was attacked by several groups of drones. Explosions were heard there. Later, missiles flew into the region.

Situation in Lviv

Local media reported that there were power outages in Lviv. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi added that the city’s public transport schedule would change due to the attack:

  • Traffic is blocked at the intersection of Zelena – Sykhivska Street.
  • Trolleybuses No. 31 temporarily run on route No. 24 in the direction of Sykhov.
  • The bridge on Horodotska Street was also temporarily closed.
  • Bus routes No. 84, 52, 14 and 92 bypass Konyushynna Street.

The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytsky, added that the occupiers attacked the region with combat drones and cruise missiles that night.

“A power facility was damaged. A woodworking enterprise and a warehouse were also damaged. A fire is being extinguished at one of the facilities,” Kozytskyi detailed, adding that there were no victims or injuries as a result of the attack.

“The thick smoke over Lviv is the result of burning tires in civilian warehouses hit by the enemy. There is currently no information about casualties,” Sadovyi added, noting that the material is difficult to extinguish, so the liquidation is ongoing.
