A helicopter with 20 people on board crashed in Russia: there are casualties

“According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was an engine malfunction,” the prosecutor’s office noted.

The helicopter fell at 11:05 local time 75 km from the village. Evensk, Severo-Evensk district, Magadan region. The helicopter belonged to the carrier Dalnegorsk Avia. There were gold mine workers on board.

It is known that the helicopter followed the route “Kvartsevy landing site – Omsukchan airport.” There were 20 people on board the aircraft, including 3 crew members. Russian public pages write about one or two dead. Search and rescue efforts continue.
