A bust of Stalin was erected on Stalin Avenue in the city of Dagestanskie Ogni . The installation was initiated by local communists. It is reported that another bus stop was installed next to the bust – as a “gift” to the townspeople.

The installation of the bust was criticized on the Internet . Stalin’s opponents recalled the repressions against the peoples of the Caucasus, which were carried out under him. Stalin’s supporters considered that the site was not suitable for the monument.MAY 2

A resident of Dagestan Lights apologized for installing the bust. “Having installed this monument, they sow discord between us and our brothers Chechens, Ingush, Balkars, Lezghins … And therefore we apologize for the incident that happened due to sluggishness, because of some problems with the head of the leadership of our city.” – says the man in the video that appeared on the Internet.

Maybe a collection of photos should be a part of every Stalin statue. They should show the gruesome murder and the still living half skeletons in his gulags (Ruskie concentration camps) of some of his countless millions of victims.
But, I’m afraid that even this would prove futile to open the eyes of those too blind to comprehend the evilness of worshipping such a murderous monster. It’s like those awful pictures on cigarette packs to help discourage smoking that works only on those who are not smokers.
