The scandalous prime minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, commented for the first time on Russia’s attack on the Ohmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv.
Orbán’s comment appeared in X more than a day after the cynical attack by the Russians. The politician did not express his condolences to the dead and injured as a result of the missile strike, nor did he say a word about Russia’s responsibility for this attack.
Instead, Orban said that it was a “tragic and terrible terrorist attack in Kyiv” that proves that “the cruelty of the Russian-Ukrainian war has reached a new level.”
“That is why nine days ago we launched a peacekeeping mission. The ever-increasing intensity of the war is a call to world powers to abandon the policy of war and instead create a policy of peace that would encourage Russia and Ukraine to cease fire and negotiate peace,” he added. .
