On May 1, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with two Molniya drones, hitting the Kyivsky and Osnovyansky districts of the city. One of the drones, which struck at around 11:52 a.m., turned out to be intentionally stuffed with a bag of nails.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv region police, Petro Tokar, on television. According to him, during an inspection of the impact site, explosives technicians and police discovered additional damage elements in the drone – metal nails that were attached to the body.
This is yet another indication that Russian troops are trying to harm as many civilians as possible, using the most brutal and cynical methods.
“When the police and bomb disposal experts were inspecting the drone, we discovered that a bag of nails was attached to it. That is, the Russians are trying to inflict maximum damage on the civilian population and are resorting to such simple methods – additional elements attached to the drone to hit the maximum number of people,” he said.
In total, within two hours, the Russians struck with two Molniya UAVs in the Kyivsky and Osnovyansky districts of Kharkiv. Rescuers and emergency services immediately began working at the explosion sites. As of 3:30 p.m., there was no information about casualties or serious damage.
On the night of Thursday, May 1, Russian occupation forces sent a group of “Shahed” strike drones to Odessa, causing explosions in several areas of the city. Much damage was recorded to civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings. Two people were killed and 15 more were injured.
As OBOZ.UA reported, the UN noted the intensification of Russian shelling of Ukraine amid growing diplomatic efforts to end the war. Although recent weeks have been marked by active attempts to establish peace talks, shelling of Ukrainian cities by the occupiers has not stopped.
It leaves a decent human being almost speechless, to see how deeply evil the russians are. They must be made to go extinct.
Genocide.
There has surely to come a point when all civilized democracies decide that ruZZia is not a nation at all; just a stinking, infected cauldron of devilry that must be completely quarantined.
This has to be the tipping point.
All ruZZians to be expelled from Europe and north America and all their property, cash and assets to be seized. Everything, including the €300 billion, to go immediately to Ukraine without further debate.
