70 traitors left for Russia as part of the “1000 for 1000” exchange – the “I Want to Go to My Own” project

On May 23, the first stage of the prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia in the “1000 for 1000” format took place. As part of it, 70 people convicted in Ukraine for crimes related to collaborationism and treason were transferred to Russia.

This was reported by the Ukrainian project “I Want to My Own”,  Censor.NET informs .

“On May 23, 2025, as part of the state project “I Want to Be with My Own”, which is implemented by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War with the support of the Military Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 70 collaborators left for the Russian Federation with the parallel return of dozens of Ukrainian civilian hostages from Russian captivity, who had been illegally held by the Russian authorities for years,” the report says.

The profiles of 31 collaborators who left the territory of Ukraine today are presented on the website of the “I Want to Go Home” project with the note “Left”.

Russian media reports that people who “have long wanted this” have left for Russia. They allegedly “did not see their future in Ukraine and identify themselves as Russians.”

Russia took 70 people who were convicted in Ukraine for crimes related to collaborationism, treason, and terrorism.

We will remind you that on May 23, 390 Ukrainians returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity . This is the first stage of the prisoner exchange in the “1000 for 1000” format.
