The Netherlands has signed contracts for the production of 600,000 Ukrainian drones for Ukraine as part of the “Drone Line” initiative, with deliveries scheduled for this year.

This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, Censor.NET reports.

These contracts are part of a new Dutch aid package worth more than €675 million, which also includes the supply of 100 additional radars to detect UAVs and equipment to evacuate the wounded.

Umerov thanked  the Netherlands and personally Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans for their leadership and such strong support.

“This is an example of true partnership and faith in Ukraine’s victory. Together we are doing everything possible to ensure that our Armed Forces have a technological advantage on the battlefield,” Umerov noted.

Earlier, the Netherlands announced the allocation of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine totaling approximately 175 million euros.
