The losses of the Russian army in the war against Ukraine continue to grow, and about 60% of them are already irreversible. At the same time, the Kremlin does not abandon offensive plans and is preparing to attract more personnel.
This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram. He summarized the results of the report by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Oleg Ivashchenko.
According to Zelensky, Ukrainian intelligence has received specific documents from the Russian General Staff. They confirm that the occupiers themselves admit their inability to fulfill the tasks of their political leadership.
According to intelligence, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are systematically destroying the offensive potential of the Russian army, and the share of irretrievable losses is already about 60% of the total.
“Despite this, the Russian political leadership is planning further offensive operations and is preparing to attract more personnel, including by expanding mobilization processes in Russia,” Zelenskyy stressed.
In response, Ukraine plans to increase pressure on the enemy. Among the main tasks, the president named a further increase in the share of irretrievable losses of the occupiers, expanding the use of drones on the front, and scaling up “long-range sanctions” that hit Russia’s military production and oil industry.
“We will also inform our partners about the further development in Moscow of plans for operations against NATO countries, as well as attempts to involve Belarus more in the implementation of Russian tasks,” the head of state added.
Recall that during one of his recent interviews, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that mobilization may be carried out in Russia in the near future, and restrictions on social networks are one of the signs of preparation for its beginning.
As OBOZ.UA reported, amid heavy losses in Ukraine, students are being recruited into the unmanned troops in Russia . The military command is trying to lure them not only with money, but also with a short contract term of “just one year.”
