For several days now, the scandal over the German government’s plans to cut spending on aid to Ukraine has not subsided.
By the end of this year, Germany will transfer to Ukraine four more IRIS-T air defense systems of various ranges. This was reported by the deputy official representative of the German government, Wolfgang Buchner, quoted by DW .

According to him, in addition to anti-aircraft missile systems, Ukraine will also receive 10 Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, 16 self-propelled howitzers, 10 Leopard main battle tanks, combat drones and several thousand rounds of ammunition for artillery and tanks.
Already next year, Germany is expected to transfer to Ukraine more than 20 self-propelled howitzers, 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles, 37 Leopard main battle tanks, 5 Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, 6 IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile systems and several thousand artillery and tank ammunition.
“And that is why there is not a single message from the government that support will be reduced or limited in any other way,” Büchner emphasized.
