In this podcast, Brian and his guests comprehensively demolish putler’s ‘Mein Kampf’ article and as usual Brian comes up with some memorable quotes. Such as this one (to paraphrase):
“Russia doesn’t have a Putin problem, it has a Russia problem.”
He is pessimistic about Russia giving up its evil imperialist outlook, but he says there is only one thing that will change it and that is a successful Ukraine.
He is probably right. It is up to Ukraine’s leaders to encourage entrepreneurs and get rid of the oligarchs, who are just vectors for Russian domination and interference. I exclude Poroshenko from that, as he is a successful businessman who got where he is the hard way: hard work, high intelligence, integrity and guile.
My wife told me straight away, leave your money in a UK bank, Ukrainian banks are never to be trusted.
I hope it gets sorted out. This kind of thing is one reason Ukraine has such a bad reputation in the world. There are many online companies I used to use in the UK, I can’t even get access to them now, Ukraine is blacklisted.
That is a shame Facts, I hope it all gets straightened out right away. I know they don’t like parting with dollars and sometimes when you take it out they can charge the shit out of you.
