Team Trump thinks Ukraine can’t win—but that’s only due to Biden’s restrictions, which no longer need apply.
This matters because every conversation I have with Trump allies reveals that their view of Ukraine is still controlled by Joe Biden and Jake Sullivan. If Trump wants to ditch Biden’s policies, why not ditch his weak worldview too?
Biden’s approach to Ukraine has been full of missed opportunities and missteps. Here’s how his decisions failed Ukraine at critical moments:
- F-16s: Biden blocked Europe from sending its own F-16s to Ukraine, even while “shithole” countries had them. He only allowed a few later, leaving the front and cities like Odesa and Kharkiv vulnerable. 🛩️
- Hurricane Aid: In September 2024, Biden announced $8B in Ukraine aid, making it seem like new funds. In reality, it was part of an already-approved package—unnecessarily making Americans facing hurricanes blame Ukraine. 💸
- Weapon Valuations: Much of Biden’s aid was just old U.S. weapons re-valued for Ukraine, not additional support. Except for once near the end, his team never tried to explain this, wearing out Americans with a false narrative of billions to Ukraine. 🇺🇦
- 2014 Maidan: Obama-Biden’s push for a deal with pro-Kremlin forces actually tried to stop Ukraine’s Revolution. But the very fact of the meddling fed Russian propaganda, and bureaucrats like Nuland never have come clean to make it clear they were trying to limit not stoke the revolution. ✊
- Crimea: Instead of sending promised weapons when Putin took Crimea, Biden, in charge of Obama’s Ukraine policy, sent snacks, while his son made money from a pro-Kremlin firm that benefited from Putin taking Crimea. 🍽️💰
- Escalation Fears: Biden’s public concern over escalation signaled to Russia what they could get away with, undermining Ukraine’s position. 🤦♂️
- Weapon Delays: Biden delayed critical weapons like HIMARS and ATACMS, costing Ukraine valuable time and opportunities to strike back effectively. ⏳
- Sanctions Waivers: Biden issued sanctions waivers to Russian banks facilitating oil transactions allowing them to fund the war machine. 💰🔴
- Refusal to address the source: Biden’s refusal to let Ukraine strike deep into Russian territory, even after bombings in Kyiv, hurt Ukraine’s ability to defend itself. 🎯
- Biden’s Family Ties: Biden’s ties to Russia and his family’s financial dealings overshadowed his failure to arm Ukraine. Hunter Biden never came clean and made it clear that Burisma, which paid him big bucks, is pro-Russian and not Ukrainian. As a result, MAGA became anti-Ukraine simply because they associated it with Biden and Burisma. 🕵️♂️
Like some horrible nightmare production, Biden and Sullivan restricted Ukraine from winning. And now, Trump’s team is buying into their failure rather than breaking out of it.

There is a simplier solution to the equation.
“Team Trump” doesn’t want Ukraine to win as they want russia on their side vs China. Trump was always VERY friendly to russia and putin.
Trump doesn’t need Biden for all of that. He can blame Biden, sure. Sorta like you do in your post. But the reality is Trump just not being interested in Ukraine victory. Morals. International order. Alliances and obligations.
He sees it as helping the weak.
And the weak, in his world, don’t deserve help.

It’s sad and pathetic to read how the west treated Ukraine. Not only the US, but also Europe. Scholz withheld sending long range rockets, Orban abused the European safety and Poland keep letting themselves be pushed back.

Where are the other 11 reasons? The first 10 are enough to ensure Ukraine didn’t win this war, we don’t need the other 11.
I should imagine he might edit it when he reviews it. But I put it up anyway because it seemed a pretty valid statement.
Being Ukraine-based, he has to cope with frequent power outages of course.
He lost his job with the Chicago radio station, but opted to stay on and see things through.
I think most people can agree that Biden was pathetic and only prolonged the war unnecessarily instead of helping to end it as quickly as possible. This is chiseled in stone for all following generations to read.
Trump’s evilness and stupidity will also be chiseled in stone.
