On Sunday, August 31, people in Kyiv said goodbye to 24-year-old Nadia and her 2-year-old daughter Angelina. The girl and her mother were killed in a combined Russian missile and drone attack on the night of August 28.

Several hundred people came to see little Angelina and her mother Nadia Galich off on their last journey. Among them were residents of the destroyed house and the neighboring one, as well as relatives, friends of Nadia and her husband Maksym, and former classmates.

“Nadiya studied in my class. She was a very good student, a very nice person, bright, cheerful, so friendly. She loved her little sister, Vika, who is now studying at our school. This is a very big loss,” says Nadiya’s class teacher, Nataliya Oleksandrivna.

Two-year-old Angelina became the youngest victim of the Russian attack on August 28.
