Soldiers from the US 82nd Airborne Division will be stationed in the southeast, near Ukraine.

Additional military forces of the United States, consisting of 1.7 thousand people, arrived in Poland.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak on Twitter .
“We are consistently strengthening the security of Poland and NATO’s eastern flank. Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division have just landed at Rzeszow Airport. This is our allied response to the growing crisis caused by Russia’s aggressive actions,” he wrote.
An additional 1,700 troops will be deployed on NATO’s eastern flank, close to Ukraine, Blaszczak said.
According to the Voice of America , since 2017, about 4,000 American troops have been deployed in Poland on a rotational basis.
As UNIAN reported earlier, NATO is increasing its presence in the Baltic countries and Eastern Europe against the background of the continued military buildup of the Russian Federation near the borders of Ukraine.
US President Joe Biden ordered the deployment of additional US troops to Poland, Romania and Germany.
It was noted that the 82nd Airborne Division is capable of deploying its positions within 18 hours and dropping troops to perform key tasks.

I donno. As much as i appreciate this, but a Blitzkrieg vs Ukraine and Nato’s eastern flank requires a bigger dimension in all areas. Nato is unfit for purpose. We hope nothing will happen and could get fucked with our pants downe any moment.
I’m not quite sure what good a handful of our soldiers will do and this outside of Ukraine. Maybe someone knows what plans Biden has, or does he even know about this?
In case Biden has a plan, i hope it’s not to evacuate all staff before the ruSSians take over the entire East…
