“I ask the head of state and the awards department of the president’s office to consider the petition and make a decision. This is a tragic and unforgettable page of our history for every Ukrainian, a milestone in the struggle for independence, which should be engraved in generations. I would like to say a special word about Stepan’s family – true active patriots of Ukraine. I deeply respect his mother – the incredible Stalina Chubenko,” he noted.
