The arrival of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Kiev is a demonstration of the unwavering support of the people of Ukraine. In particular, Johnson announced the work on a new package of financial and military assistance for Ukraine.

He wrote about this on Twitter.

“I’m visiting my friend Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv today, demonstrating our unwavering support for the people of Ukraine. We are creating a new financial and military aid package that is a testament to our commitment to Ukraine’s fight against Russia’s barbaric campaign,” Johnson said.

Britain will supply Kiev with 120 armored vehicles and anti-ship systems. In addition, Britain will provide Ukraine with loan guarantees for an additional $500 million through the IMF. This was reported on Downing Street.

Note that for the first time since the war, Ukraine will receive anti-ship missiles.
