America sent Ukraine more than 100 Forterra Lancer autonomous ground robots, self-driving cargo vehicles built on a Polaris platform, and after nine months and over 1,100 missions, 2,500 miles traveled, and 88 casualty evacuations, Ukrainian troops delivered the clearest possible verdict: send more and make them cheap enough to lose.
