ICE has quietly purchased new surveillance tools capable of monitoring entire neighborhoods at once — tracking phones, mapping movements, and collecting data on everyone nearby, including U.S. citizens. According to reporting, these systems can be used without a warrant by exploiting legal loopholes, meaning you don’t have to be suspected of a crime to be swept up. Combined with DHS’s expansion into drones and mass data collection, this marks a dangerous shift toward warrantless surveillance and the erosion of Fourth Amendment protections. Once this infrastructure exists, it won’t stay limited — and it won’t go away.

This does not mean it’s not true. At any rate, I would not be surprised if it was. ICE is murdering innocent American citizens, after all, without consequences, as we see. The police state is emerging. Instead of being alarmed, you’re fighting our resistance.
You always assume too much, friend. That seems to be a common thread with the hard Left. If you want murderers, rapists, child predators and drug dealers to run free in your neighborhood, I can see why you’d resist the cops.
Who do you think some of the recruits for ICE are? Background checks are practically non-existent, and training is abysmal.

If there was a more specific part of my answer you didn’t see some semblance of a report on, let me know.
Don’t put me in a hard left category, Red; you sound like you’re suffering from acquired dyslexia. I mentioned countless times already that I’m a Republican and conservative. I real Republican, not like the new Nazi ones.
And no, I don’t want criminals running the streets. But even more, I don’t want criminals in the White House. Is that so difficult to comprehend?
I beg your pardon if I don’t share your fascist tendencies.
I think there’s way too much hyperventilating on ICE. Yeah there are some bad apples like everywhere else, but I’m looking at the shit coming across our borders and they are dangerous. I don’t know how to fix it but just letting it go isn’t an answer.
The thing is the current administration gave them a budget equivalent or exceeding many countries military budget, and then slap on the claim of absolute immunity. They are not targeting high profile criminals but those with misdemeanor infractions. On top of that they are harassing, detaining, injuring, and in the recent case murdering U.S. citizens. This includes minors.
I totally agree with getting rid of the garbage, Cap, but not when American citizens get killed in cold blood and the administration is protecting the murderer. And there are countless other reports of ICE abuses.
No, Cap, I’m not for open borders, but I’m even more against a fascist regime that does what it wants. That’s more dangerous than any drug cartel. Look at mafia land. Look at Iran. Look at Nazi Germany.
Don’t blame the entire org because of one mental case directed by many mental cases in the WH
I am blaming the org., because there are countless reports of abuses by it. It has grown exponentially since Taco’s re-election. I’m sure what the criteria are to get hired these days, and they are nothing good.
Just read a Washington Post article where one of their journalists applied and was most definitely not hireable but she got hired. So, your observation Sir OFP is right on.
It’s clear to me at least what I’ve seen, she was murdered
Absolutely.
Fucking ICEholeZ! 😤

2025.10.22 Reported: ICE has sent recruits to training before their vetting is compete – NBC News
NBC News reports that ICE moved new recruits to training programs before completion of their vetting process. As a result, ICE only later learned that “some of the recruits failed drug testing, have disqualifying criminal backgrounds or don’t meet the physical or academic requirements to serve” after these individuals already started training. As an example, one recruit had prior strong-arm robbery and battery charges from a domestic violence incident. ICE has already dismissed 200 new recruits from training programs after learning they do not meet the hiring requirements. Some recruits have also not submitted fingerprints for background checks. The rushed recruitment process increases the risk that individuals with “red flags” will be hired, and one current DHS official stated that “[t]here is absolutely concern that some people are slipping through the cracks.”

The NBC News article:

I’m not saying ICE is doing everything correctly but they’re not doing everything wrong either. If there were 200 recruits out of 500, big problem but 200 out of 10,000 yes a problem but not that large that all recruiting stopped.
An odd incident…
A video has recently gone viral showing an ICE agent in Minnesota entering a single-person portable toilet with a person in custody, sparking significant controversy and an official response from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Key details regarding the incident include:
Location and Date: The incident occurred in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, on or around January 10, 2026.
The Video: The footage, captured by a community member and shared widely on social media platforms like X and Facebook, shows a male agent slipping on ice and then accompanying the handcuffed detainee into the porta-potty while another agent waited outside in a vehicle.
Contested Identity: Initial social media posts, including those from Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, suggested the detainee was a woman, raising immediate concerns about potential misconduct.
Official Response: A DHS spokesperson clarified in a statement that the individual in custody was a man, not a woman. They explained that it is a “standard, longstanding policy to never allow a subject in custody to enter an enclosed area alone as they are under arrest and could barricade themselves in”. The procedure is the same for any location.
The incident has intensified local and national debates around ICE enforcement tactics, particularly as it occurred in Minneapolis amid existing tensions following a separate fatal encounter involving an ICE agent the same week. Local officials, including the Minneapolis Mayor, have criticized ICE’s operations and called for greater transparency and accountability.

“standard, longstanding policy to never allow a subject in custody to enter an enclosed area alone as they are under arrest and could barricade themselves in”.
Even in a portapotty? 😂I can very well imagine what happened in there.
In a ‘normal’ law enforcement situation a female officer would be found to assist but could be a long wait for the individual that really had to relieve themselves.
I seriously doubt that an officer is required inside a porta-potty with an arrested person. That is just plain ridiculous.

Crimes involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents generally fall into two categories: reported instances of misconduct and excessive force by agents during enforcement operations, and federal investigations and arrests of individuals (including some agents) for various criminal offenses.
Allegations of Misconduct and Excessive Force
Media reports and civil rights organizations have documented numerous incidents and lawsuits alleging unlawful conduct by ICE agents during encounters and arrests. These allegations often involve the following:
Excessive Force: There are reports and videos of agents using force deemed disproportionate to the situation, including banned neck restraints/chokeholds, kneeling on individuals’ necks, and shoving people who are not physically resisting. One high-profile incident involved an agent shooting and killing a woman in Minneapolis, an incident for which Americans in a recent poll favored filing criminal charges against the agent.
Unlawful Stops and Detentions: Instances have been reported where U.S. citizens were wrongfully detained, or individuals were stopped and held without a valid, specific reason or probable cause, which potentially violates Fourth Amendment rights.
Warrantless Entries and Coercive Tactics: Agents have been accused of illegally entering private homes without judicial warrants or proper consent, sometimes using deceptive tactics (ruses), such as pretending to be local police investigating a fake crime, to gain entry.
Retaliation: Reports suggest agents have retaliated against individuals attempting to record or protest their actions in public, even though recording public law enforcement activity is generally a protected right.
Arrests and Convictions of ICE Agents
While comprehensive public data is limited, there have been cases of ICE agents themselves being apprehended and investigated for criminal activities while employed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The FBI has also warned the public about individuals impersonating ICE agents to commit violent crimes, highlighting the potential for abuse of the agency’s image.
ICE’s Stated Mission and Operations
Conversely, official ICE and DHS sources frequently publish news releases highlighting their agency’s primary mission: arresting and removing “worst of the worst” criminal illegal aliens, including those with convictions for serious crimes such as murder, rape, sexual assault of a minor, and drug trafficking. These sources often emphasize the dangers agents face, including a significant increase in assaults and death threats against law enforcement personnel. The agency’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) division also conducts federal criminal investigations into transnational crime networks, human trafficking, and financial fraud.

While U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detains individuals for various offenses, data shows a large percentage of detainees have no criminal convictions, with many having only minor infractions like traffic violations, though others are held for serious crimes such as homicide, assault, sexual offenses, domestic violence, and drug trafficking. The crimes committed by those with records vary, but a majority of convictions are for less severe offenses, while a smaller portion involves violent felonies, according to analysis of ICE data by groups like the Cato Institute and Syracuse University’s TRAC.
From the Guardian, and I believe both suspects detained were minors but it doesn’t say so in this article.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jan/13/ice-immigration-target-minnesota
While U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) policy states they shouldn’t detain U.S. citizen minors and must consider their welfare, reports show ICE has mistakenly arrested and detained citizen children, sometimes using force, leading to trauma and family separation, with agents reportedly ignoring claims of citizenship, necessitating immediate contact with legal aid or advocates for verification and release.
Why This Happens
Mistaken Identity: Agents may mistake citizens for undocumented immigrants during raids or enforcement actions.
Policy Violations: Despite directives like the 2017 Detained Parents Directive, agents sometimes fail to follow procedures, leading to unlawful detention, say advocates.
Enforcement Actions: High-profile cases show ICE detaining citizens, even children, for extended periods, with violent arrests reported.
What to Do If a U.S. Citizen Minor is Detained
Assert Citizenship: The child should clearly state, “I am a U.S. Citizen,” and ask why they are being held.
Remain Silent: They have the right to remain silent and ask for a lawyer.
Contact Legal Help Immediately: Reach out to immigration lawyers, organizations like the National Immigration Law Center (NILC), or advocacy groups (e.g., ACLU (not in snippets but relevant)).
Provide Proof: Show non-expired state IDs, birth certificates, or tribal IDs to prove citizenship.
Impact on Families
Separation: Citizen children can be separated from detained parents and placed in foster care or with relatives.
Trauma: Arrests, even brief detentions, cause significant emotional distress and trauma for children.
Key Takeaway: While it’s against policy, ICE has detained U.S. citizen minors, highlighting the critical need for immediate legal intervention and documentation when such incidents occur.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents stem from reports of inadequate training, violent tactics, and lack of accountability, with recent incidents leading states like Illinois and cities like St. Paul to sue the administration, alleging agents are deployed without sufficient training in de-escalation, resulting in excessive force, unnecessary raids, and erosion of public trust, with calls for centralized training and oversight to address these issues.
Key Issues Raised:
Shortened Training: Reports indicate significant cuts to ICE officer training, reducing it to around 47-48 days from previously longer programs, impacting skills in areas like de-escalation and community interaction, notes Al Jazeera and Third Way.
Violent Tactics & Unlawful Force: States and advocates point to documented violent incidents, including shootings and military-style raids in cities, citing a lack of training and supervision as root causes, as seen in lawsuits by Illinois and Minnesota.
Lack of Accountability: Critics argue there’s an “attitude of impunity” and insufficient oversight, with calls for Congress and courts to hold the administration accountable for improper enforcement, say Representative Jimmy Panetta and The State of Illinois Newsroom.
Identity Issues: Agents have been observed operating without clear identification or in plainclothes, raising concerns about transparency and public safety, notes the Center for American Progress.
Official Findings & Calls for Action:
DHS OIG Alerts: Past reports from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General highlighted issues with decentralized training and the need for unified standards.
Advocacy: Immigrant rights groups and politicians call for ending contracts, shutting down detention centers, and implementing better training and oversight to protect individuals and communities.
In essence, the criticism suggests rushed hiring and deployment without sufficient training in proper procedures and de-escalation, leading to dangerous outcomes and eroding public trust.

The mess of ICE under Trump’s previous term:
Good job, Sir Bill!
Under the taco, ICE became the largest and most well-funded federal law enforcement agency in U.S. history. He turned it into his personal Gestapo. Things will get worse. Mark my words.
From information continuing to be collected on the ground it is doing just that. Adam Mockler was talking about a 21 year old that lost an eye due to the recklessness of ICE agents. The victim now can neither cough nor sneeze safely. 😠
And who knows how many abuses are being committed that we don’t hear about?
Exactly these are just the cases we DO know about.
