🚀 #Ukraine faces 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 not because they lack the courage to fight but because the country that disarmed them and promised #security – betrayed them.

🇺🇲 Betrayed by Bill Clinton, who pressured them to give away their nuclear arsenal in exchange for “security guarantees” that turned out to be worthless. And who even now doesn’t use his authority to advocate for more aid.

💔 Betrayed by Barack Obama who also pushed Ukraine to disarm, coerced them to destroy strategic bombers and turned a blind eye to Russian occupation of Crimea.
And who remains silent in this dire time and does not call for aid to Ukraine.

🍊 Betrayed by the entire GOP as they are dreaming of installing a dictatorship in the USA; they fantasize that letting Putin win will help them.

Betrayed by House Speaker Johnson who, while calling himself a Christian, firmly stands in the way of aid to Ukrainians and is happy to see them 𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝.

Betrayed by the POTUS, who could have stopped the Russian invasion in its tracks by arming Ukraine early but chose not to. And who could find another way to send ammo to Ukraine in a crucial time but chose not to.

📺 Betrayed by the American media, who parades Russian propagandists daily and who refuses to publish articles by actual Ukrainians.

Because of this, the scale of horror that Ukrainians are facing is unknown to the American public.

Have Americans as a people betrayed Ukraine? 🤔

No. I don’t want to believe that.

But it does look like a minority is actively helping Ukraine, and the majority is poisoned by russian #propaganda

Still, without this minority, Ukraine would be gone by now. We should all be grateful for the aid provided.

🚫 But the months-long blockade of aid has badly damaged America’s reputation as Leader of the Free World.
Perhaps permanently.

And every day, more soldiers in Ukraine 𝐝𝐢𝐞 because they’re running out of ammunition.

My regularly scheduled optimism will be back tomorrow 🙁

This invasion has already cost Ukraine thousands, if not hundreds, of thousands of lives.

Now the question remains: will it cost Ukraine millions?
