To mark Ukraine’s Tank Forces Day, we can finally reveal the details of a legendary mission executed by tank crews from the 28th Brigade.

The year was 2023, in the Bakhmut sector. Our troops’ counteroffensive was in full swing, and the infantry needed support to drive the Russians out of their positions. One of the best crews set out on the mission in a captured T-72 tank, immediately coming under targeted fire from Russian artillery and anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs). Watch for yourself to see what happened next.

Without giving away any spoilers, let’s just say Hollywood never imagined just how far things could go. The crew accomplished their mission and returned safe and sound—and they continue to fight the enemy to this day.
