Boris Johnson says Ukraine is already doing what sanctions alone cannot: imposing direct military costs inside Russia. The former British prime minister says the campaign against Russian refineries is now reaching ordinary Russians through fuel shortages, poorer-quality petrol, and even growing questions about the war on Russian television.

    One of my earliest WSJ columns on Putin’s mind and methods called him Don Putin and recommended reading Puzo’s The Godfather to understand him. Now Trump Jr.’s wedding has a Russian oligarch dispensing favors! Life imitates art!

    The AfD has also officially stated that détente with Russia is necessary for lasting peace in Europe and that integrating Russia into a security structure is in Germany’s interest, while also calling for expanded economic relations.

    Exactly four months after Weidel’s brilliant speech, putin signed a “security cooperation” with Taliban. Apparently, German AfD sincerely believes that amazing North Koreans, friendly Iranian ayatollas, wise Talibs, and beautiful russian terrorists are a perfect company for Germany. “Security structure” of your dreams.

    In a blunt rejection of Trump’s demand to stop bombing russian oil refineries, Ukraine continues striking russian refineries.

    Overnight Ukraine attacked the Rosneft’s Syzran Refinery. Multiple fire hotspots have been recorded, including in the area of tanks with petroleum products. The regional authorities reported over 40 Ukrainian drones.
