๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ โ€œIโ€™m a Woman, Iโ€™ve Got Balls. Do You?โ€ Ukrainian Female Soldier: Pregnant in the Trenches (video)

11/07/2026

โ€œI’m a woman. I’ve got balls. And you don’t?โ€ This is the story of a Ukrainian female soldier who became a company commander in the Ukraine war: when her commander was killed in the first days of the full-scale invasion and panic broke out, the youngest in the unit โ€” a girl in her early twenties surrounded by men old enough to be her father โ€” stopped it with her fist on the table. One of the Ukrainian women soldiers on the Pokrovsk front: she drove infantry fighting vehicles, fought her first battle from a trench too deep to shoot from, ran to the positions pregnant until her eighth month, and lived through 2022 not knowing what was happening to her children under Russian occupation. Women in war in Ukraine โ€” the way TV won’t show it.

๐Ÿ”ฅ First battle Her trench was two meters deep โ€” to fire, she stood on ammunition boxes. Ten Russian soldiers moved toward her position. Together with a fellow soldier she opened crossfire with an automatic grenade launcher (AGS) and an RPG. Eight enemies killed. Female soldiers in combat are not an exception in this war โ€” they are part of the frontline.

๐Ÿคฐ Pregnant in the trenches She kept running to the positions pregnant until her eighth month. She jokes that her baby already deserves a veteran’s ID. She skipped maternity leave and was back in the brigade when her son was three months old. She calls 2022 the hardest year of the war: her children ended up under Russian occupation.

๐ŸŽ– Commander Today she commands the 1st Mechanized Company of the 1st Mechanized Battalion of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade โ€œAnne of Kyivโ€ of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fighting in the Pokrovsk direction. She worries about every soldier as if he were her own child. The hardest part of the job, she says, is talking to the families of the fallen. But she allows herself no emotions: โ€œA commander must have a cold mind and a cold heart.โ€

Her daughter wants to be a combat medic. Her son wants to drive a tank. Because Dad is a soldier โ€” and Mom is a soldier too.
