Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed Ukrainians in his evening video message, summarizing the 1,423rd day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. The head of state warned that Russia is preparing for new attacks.

I am struck by Zel’s graciousness to his guests under such terrible circumstances.
Well done Dave Lammy for stressing the 100 year partnership with sincerity.
I’m impressed also that he has somehow found the strength to build a friendly relationship with the utterly vile Vance.
The UK is doing well for Ukraine, but it’s still not enough, given that we are Budapest signatories and the other western signatory has now a very hostile govt.
I note also that Zal was in attendance, which is a good sign I think.
