Waltz says “many” people in Canada would like to join the U.S. for lower taxes.
The territorial claims of the United States of America against other countries are part of the restoration of American leadership.
This was stated in an interview with NBC News by US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, answering the question of whether Donald Trump was seriously planning to annex Canada. He “doesn’t think there are any plans to invade this country,” but he is sure that many Canadians did not like the last 10 years of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s rule:
“What you are seeing is a reaffirmation of American leadership in the Western Hemisphere, from the Arctic all the way to the Panama Canal. And that is what we are talking about, from Greenland to Arctic security and bringing the Panama Canal back under American control. America has for too long avoided our own hemisphere, where we have energy, food and critical minerals.”

I can guarantee that 50% of US citizens didn’t like Trumps last 4 year stint in the WH. That doesn’t give Canada the right to annex the US.
And we’ll see how much that 50% will grow as the orange administration demolishes our economy.
50% tariffs on Chinese and ruSSian imports would help alot. Taxing Mexico and Canada is suicide.
