The United Kingdom has pledged $16 billion in military aid to Ukraine, according to the announcement made by UK Minister of State for Defense, Luke Pollard, after a meeting with defense ministers from the E5 group (Poland, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Italy) in Kraków, as reported by Ukrinform on February 20.
“We will stand with Ukraine as the United Kingdom, as E5, as NATO members, for as long as necessary. The United Kingdom has committed more than £13 billion ($16 billion) in military support to Ukraine,” said the Deputy Defense Minister.
He added that the UK would continue to share technologies and battlefield lessons, noting that the Octopus interceptor, developed from battlefield experience, is now being mass-produced in the UK, enabling Ukraine to shoot down drones targeting its infrastructure.
Pollard also pointed out that the launch of the LEAP initiative (creating joint autonomous drones as a cheaper alternative to expensive air defense systems) demonstrates that the E5 meetings are producing results, but more action is required.

Absolutely excellent. That’s a big increase and makes us Ukraine’s biggest single benefactor.
All the more praiseworthy because Sir Kier is in all sorts of political trouble at the moment for many reasons, but scuzzy crooks like Mandelson and Mountbatten-Windsor are causing big problems for him.
PS : I haven’t yet seen any further verification of the quoted figures. I hope they are correct.
So do I. I checked GOV.UK, and it says the total military aid to Ukraine has been £13 billion.
