In the first half of 2025, Ukrainians bought 22.5 thousand new passenger cars. Which is 5% more than in the same period a year earlier. The most popular model was the Toyota RAV4 – 1,336 of these were purchased. The price for such cars starts from UAH 1.551 million.

Ukravtoprom reported on the general situation on the market. They noted that, in addition to the Toyota RAV4, the following were popular among Ukrainians:

• BYD Song Plus – 944 cars.
• RENAULT Duster – 913 cars.
• HYUNDAI Tucson – 851 cars.
• VOLKSWAGEN ID.Unyx – 801 cars.

Legal entities, it is noted, bought 10.4 thousand new cars. Which is 10% lower than a year earlier. The most popular model was the RENAULT Duster – 1,567 such cars were purchased. The top 5 also included:

• SKODA Octavia – 512 cars.
• TOYOTA Prado – 380 cars.
• TOYOTA RAV-4 – 332 cars.
• SKODA Kodiaq – 330 cars.

How much does the most popular new car among Ukrainians cost?

According to the official Toyota dealer in Ukraine, the cost of the most popular new car among Ukrainians – Toyota RAV4 – varies depending on the configuration and version of the car. Thus, the lowest price is 1.551 million UAH. The highest is 2.063 million UAH.

As OBOZ.UA reported, at the same time, in the first 6 months of 2025, 30.8 thousand used cars up to 5 years old imported from abroad were purchased in Ukraine . Most often, they were electric cars.
