The defense forces have recently advanced on four front lines. These are the Kupyansk, Slovansky, Pokrovsk, and Hulyaypil directions.
The successes of the Russian occupation army mainly exist in the “reports” of the Russian Ministry of Defense, which are refuted even by Russian propagandists. The situation on the battlefield was described by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Sumy region
A Russian military blogger claimed that Russian forces allegedly continued limited offensive operations in northern Sumy region on April 10, but ISW found no evidence to assess whether Russian forces had made any progress.

Geolocation videos released on April 10 show a Russian position in Komarivka (northwest of the city of Sumy), which ISW assesses to be a Russian infiltration mission that has not changed control of the area or the front line of the combat zone at this time.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry has announced, without any evidence, the capture of Myropylske in Sumy Oblast. Russian propagandists attribute the occupation of the settlement to units of the 15th Tank Regiment (69th Motorized Rifle Division, 6th Combined Arms Army).
“Russia has announced the capture of several small settlements along the international border in northern Ukraine as part of a cognitive war aimed at spreading a false narrative about the inevitability of Russia’s victory in Ukraine,” analysts comment on the “victories” of the Russian Defense Ministry.
Another Russian military blogger, close to the Russian grouping of troops “North”, claimed that on April 10, Russian troops allegedly attacked in the direction of the settlement of Velikiy Prykil and near Novodmytrivka.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops continued their forward attack on Russian military facilities in the Kursk region. The General Staff of Ukraine reported that on the night of April 10, Ukrainian troops struck a concentration of Russian military forces near Krasnooktyabrsky (approximately 16 kilometers from the international border).

Meanwhile, Russians were spotted in the southern part of Yampol, having infiltrated there as part of a recent infiltration mission, even before the advance of Ukrainian troops. The presence of the occupiers did not change their control over the area.
Here, the Russian Defense Ministry continues to invent “victories” – and announced the capture of Dibrova. Even Russian “military experts” have taken to refuting this statement: one of them stated that the village has long been a gray zone, and the occupiers cannot gain a foothold even on the outskirts of this settlement.

Ukrainian military observer Kostyantyn Mashovets reported on April 10 that Ukrainian troops, who reached the Ternovo and Novomykolaivka districts (both southeast of Oleksandrivka), have repelled Russian attacks from Novogeorgiivka and Zaporizhzhia (southeast of Berezovo) over the past two weeks (approximately since March 27).
He hinted that Ukrainian forces had cleared Berezove of Russian infantry groups. Mashovets noted that Ukrainian forces did not appear to have made any additional advances from Novomykolaivka towards Termyrivka or from Ternovo towards Zaporizhzhia recently.
Zaporizhia region
