On Friday, March 21, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully struck the control point of the Russian border post in Glotovo, Belgorod Region, the Russian Federation, the General Staff reported .

“Despite the fact that Russian units used enhanced camouflage measures, Ukrainian pilots eliminated the enemy’s facility. As a result of the strike, communications equipment and other technical equipment were destroyed,” the report says.

It is emphasized that the defeat of this control point significantly weakens the capabilities of the Russian Federation troops to conduct combat operations against units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

“Pilots of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as other components of the Defense Forces, will continue to strike at the control points of the occupiers in order to reduce their ability to wage an aggressive war against Ukraine,” the General Staff added.

As a reminder, UNIAN previously wrote that on March 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a command post of one of the units of the 3rd Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Army of the Russian Armed Forces in the Demydivka area of ​​the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.

It was reported that as a result of this attack, the command post was completely destroyed. According to the General Staff, this facility was used by the Russian Federation to plan and conduct combat operations against units of the Defense Forces in the Sumy region.
