In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian legionnaires carried out an operation targeting the logistics of Russian occupation forces.
The target was a railway line used by the enemy as a key supply route, according to @legion_svoboda on X.
The branch line led to the occupied Zaporizhzhia Iron Ore Plant.
It was used to transport ore to the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The line was also used to move military equipment and other cargo.
After receiving intelligence from allies, the Ukrainian group prepared a special operation.
An explosive device was used during the operation.
A section of the railway line near Novoyakovlivka was disabled.

As a result, diesel locomotive traffic was halted, and a concentration of trains formed at a transshipment point.
Subsequently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a combined air strike on the clustered rolling stock and the facility area.
After the strike, the site lost its ability to be used by the occupiers as a logistics and industrial hub.
Previously, a MiG-29 destroyed a bridge used by occupying forces in the Zaporizhzhia region using a GBU-62-guided bomb.
