Details: The Nebo-U radar was hit near the city of Yevpatoriia, and the Pantsir-S1 system was struck near the village of Khutorok in the Yevpatoriia district of Crimea.
The General Staff said the defence forces had struck a site near Donetsk used to store and prepare UAVs for deployment.
Quote: “The scale of the damage is being confirmed. We continue to wipe out the enemy and its capabilities. More to come.”
More details: The Nebo-U early warning radar station can detect fighter jets at ranges of up to 400 km. It features a 43-metre-high antenna and an output of 500 kW in pulse mode, with an average of five kW. The system has been supplied to Russia’s Defence Ministry since at least 2006.
The Pantsir-S1 system, designed to destroy airborne targets, is equipped with four twin 30mm cannons and 12 guided surface-to-air missiles. It has an engagement envelope of roughly 15 km in altitude and 20 km in range.
