The 21st Sarmat Battalion captures russian BMP-3 vehicle, revealing its fresh condition and useful onboard equipment.
Ukrainian soldiers from the 21st Sarmat Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion of the 56th Separate Mariupol Motorized Infantry Brigade have captured russian BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle. According to the soldiers, this BMP-3 was recently taken out of storage, with all its weapons still coated in solidol.
The BMP-3 vehicle is equipped with weapons systems, including a 100 mm cannon, a 30 mm automatic cannon and a 7.62 mm machine gun. Unique to this third modification is the side-opening troop compartment, which can complicate the rapid deployment of troops. Additionally, the BMP-3 vehicle is armored with aluminum alloy, offering a blend of mobility and protection.
Captain Artem Holub, who spoke with the crew of the captured vehicle, was surprised to learn that the BMP-3 vehicle even comes equipped with a toilet, an unusual feature in military vehicles. Ukrainian soldiers have already put the vehicle to use, showcasing its firepower by firing its 100 mm cannon along a high-arc trajectory using the automatic loading system.

I’d rather claim that it was refurbished just recently.

I wonder which town it was stolen from.
