On the night of Monday, February 23, drones attacked the Russian Republic of Tatarstan. Their target was the Kaleikino oil pumping station (OPS) near Almetyevsk.
A fire broke out at the facility, and numerous Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations vehicles were dispatched to the scene. Russians posted footage of the fire online.
Initial reports indicated that the Druzhba oil pipeline, which originates in the Almetyevsk-Kaleikino area, was under attack. However, information subsequently surfaced online indicating that the strike targeted the Kaleikino oil pumping station, which is the oil supply hub for the Druzhba system.

The Kaleikino oil pumping station is the main oil pumping station owned by Transneft-Prikamye JSC (one of the regional divisions of RAO Transneft). It services the company’s main oil pipelines and ensures the transfer of crude oil to various pipeline destinations.

It is at the Kaleikino oil pumping station that oil flows from fields in the Volga region and Western Siberia converge. The oil is then fed into a main pipeline heading west.

As OBOZ.UA reported, the Security Service of Ukraine struck the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. Drones from the Alpha Special Operations Center raided the facility, located near the village of Volna.
