On the night of December 22, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck at the storage, training and launch sites for Shahed/Geran attack drones.
The strikes were carried out in the area of the temporarily occupied Donetsk, Donetsk region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
The purpose of the strike was to partially destroy the enemy’s stockpile of attack drones and reduce the intensity of their use on the territory of Ukraine.
A fire was spotted in the area of the strike, indicating that the launch infrastructure was hit.
The extent of the damage and the number of destroyed drones are currently being determined.

The destruction of such facilities directly affects Russia’s ability to carry out massive attacks with kamikaze drones.
Strikes on UAV launch and training sites are part of a systematic effort to disrupt aerial terror against Ukrainian cities.
Separately, the Defense Forces continue to work on identifying logistics routes for the supply and storage of attack drones.

Russia is actively using Shahed as a tool to deplete Ukrainian air defense and put pressure on civilian infrastructure.
“That is why such objects are considered as priority military targets,” the Armed Forces of Ukraine note.
They also add that these actions are aimed at limiting Russia’s ability to continue its armed aggression against Ukraine.
As a reminder, the Russians have recently expanded the Shahed launch site 70 kilometers from Ukraine.

For Debra, may she rest in peace!!!🥀🕯️
