This access will allow Ukrainian military personnel to more quickly assess changes on the ground.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and the Finnish company ICEYE signed a new agreement that significantly expands Ukrainian military access to high-quality satellite imagery, according to the publication ” Military .”

It is noted that, according to the signed agreement, Ukraine will continuously receive data from the world’s largest constellation of SAR satellites, which will allow for faster and more accurate decision-making.

“Thanks to expanded access to ICEYE data, Ukrainian military personnel will be able to more quickly assess changes on the ground. Thanks to these satellites, Ukrainian Defense Forces are able to monitor Russian troop movements virtually in real time,” the statement reads.

ICEYE founder Rafal Młodziewski stated that this will enable the acquisition of up to 20-24 images of a single object per day. This will ensure continuous situational monitoring and promptly detect changes on the battlefield.
