Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a number of key targets inside Russia overnight, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said without immediately disclosing details of the operation on Feb. 28.
In particular, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a fuel and lubricants depot of a motorized rifle regiment near the settlement of Novoamvrosiivske, as well as an ammunition depot of a separate motorized rifle brigade near the city of Amvrosiivka in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk Oblast.
In the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast, strikes hit Russian logistics facilities — material and technical supply depots of a motorized rifle regiment and an engineer-sapper regiment near the settlement of Kalanchak, as well as a fuel and lubricants depot of a separate logistics brigade near the village of Myrne.
On Feb. 27, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck an advanced command post of the enemy’s 127th Motorized Rifle Division near the village of Orlynske in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk Oblast.
Strikes were also carried out against areas where enemy personnel were concentrated near Dronivka in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast, Rodynske in Donetsk Oblast, and the settlement of Berezove in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Near the village of Bahatyr in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk Oblast, a material and technical supply depot of Russian occupying forces was also hit.
Enemy losses and the full extent of the damage are being clarified.
