Qatar is the world’s second largest exporter of liquefied gas after the United States.
On March 2, 2026, Qatar halted production of liquefied natural gas after two Iranian drones struck energy facilities of the state-owned company QatarEnergy.
This is reported by Reuters . Journalists note that Qatar provides about 20% of the world’s demand for liquefied gas and plays an important role in balancing the needs of Asian and European markets. The country is the world’s second largest exporter of liquefied gas after the United States.

The wave of attacks in the Middle East, which lasted for a third day, also “led to the shutdown of most oil production in Iraqi Kurdistan and the closure of several major Israeli gas fields, limiting exports to Egypt.”
In addition, according to a Reuters source, Saudi Arabia’s largest oil refinery was shut down after the drone strike. It is noted that this was a precautionary measure.
The journalists’ source specifies that the Ras Tanura oil refinery of the state-owned Saudi Aramco has a capacity of 550,000 barrels per day. It is a critically important export terminal for Saudi crude oil.

Every one of those Mid Eastern countries is feeling what Ukraine has been feeling for four long years. All along, they did jack shit to help the country, so it serves them right to be suffering, too, although they will never reach the level of suffering that Ukraine has reached.
I’m just waiting for the spike in fuel prices. I wonder who will be blamed?
