Conservatives agree with Tucker Carlson on many economic and domestic issues, but on national security his outlook has long been similar to Code Pink and the radical left.
Carlson says “Of course I love Vladimir Putin. Who wouldn’t? Have you seen how awesome Russia is?” Carlson claims the aggressive terrorist state is “thriving” under Putin. We often disagree with Laura Loomer but today she was correct.

Laura Loomer: “Tucker Carlson is currently at the White House where he is attending President Trump’s meeting with senior oil executives to discuss how to acquire the largest oil reserves in the world in Venezuela.
“Why is Tucker Carlson attending when he has spent the last week completely trashing the Trump administration’s military operation in Venezuela, and falsely claimed President Trump is about to get us into a New World War.
“This is outrageous. Tucker Carlson is a virulent Jew hater and radical Islamist mouthpiece, and has no business being in the Oval Office.
“Truly disgusting. What a hypocrite Tucker has become. It’s also terrible optics for the Trump administration in a midterm year to have Tucker of all people in the White House. This was a very bad idea.”
Washington Examiner: Tucker Carlson claims Russia’s February 2022 invasion of Ukraine was justified because of the Biden administration’s plan to bring Ukraine into NATO. There was no such plan and Ukraine was not even a NATO candidate member.
Carlson was asked about evidence to support that claim and pointed to Vice President Kamala Harris’ address to the 2022 Munich Security Conference.
“She did not advocate NATO membership and said, “If Russia further invades Ukraine, the United States, together with our Allies and partners, will impose significant and unprecedented economic costs.”
Drew Pavlou responded, “On November 21, 2024, Carlson described American military aid for Ukraine as ‘The most evil thing I’ve ever seen in my lifetime’.”
Carlson has often repeated blatant Kremlin propaganda. He claims donated weapons sent to Ukraine are now in the hands of Mexico’s drug cartels. There is no evidence to support his accusation. There is no evidence Ukraine is selling its weapons to anyone.
Carlson claims Ukraine Orthodox churches “are being burned and priests beaten.” The Ukraine Orthodox Church is thriving and there are no restrictions.
He’s referring to the closure of the Putin funded Russian Orthodox Church which is on the Kremlin payroll. No priests were beaten. The United States did the same thing to churches affiliated with the Nazi government during WW II. This was not a controversial decision in Ukraine.
Newsmax host Eric Bolling claims “Tucker Carlson always acts as Putin’s press secretary.”
Carlson was furious when Trump rejected Putin’s advice and retaliated against Assad’s Syria when they used chemical weapons.
Carlson strongly disagreed with Trump in 2017 when he approved an aggressive military posture which was successful in abolishing the Islamic State caliphate.
Russia has committed numerous war crimes, including genocide and the mass murder of innocent people. Vladimir Putin hates gay people, but it’s ridiculous for those on the right to claim he is a devout Christian leader who supports traditional conservative values.
Russia really isn’t even a Christian country. The priority in Russia is always the state, even after the fall of the USSR.
