I am a Ukrainian Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. I have a question.

Why has Trump’s year of negotiations been the deadliest for civilians in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion? The number of deaths and injuries has increased by 31% compared to the previous year.

Why did Putin not allow himself such brutal strikes on civilian infrastructure under Biden, whom Trump calls “weak,” but totally destroys peaceful cities and disregards the “strong Trump”?

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in an interview with France 2 that 55,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed during the full scale war.

However, there is also a large number of people who are considered missing in action.

In February of last year, in an interview with NBC, Zelenskyy spoke about 46,000 killed and 380,000 wounded Ukrainian soldiers during the full scale invasion.

I want to draw attention to the fact that the same people who are now offering Ukraine “security guarantees” are the ones who previously proposed the so-called “energy ceasefire.”

What these “guarantees” have in common is that the “ceasefire” lasts exactly until the moment russia finishes stockpiling missiles for a new strike.

As soon as a new volley is ready, targets are selected, missiles are programmed and prepared for launch, the “ceasefire” ends just as unexpectedly as it began.

This is obvious to anyone with even minimal critical thinking, because russians act this way every single time. This is their gold standard: to lie about readiness for peace whenever they need time to prepare a new attack.

But every time there are people so exhausted by the war that they want to believe the russians and stare into their mouths, searching there for peace.

The uncomfortable truth is this: no ceasefire is possible as long as russia retains the capacity to kill us. And no agreements with russia make any sense as long as we lack the capacity to punish violations of those agreements.

Lindsey Graham is calling on Trump to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles. Unfortunately, so far, these have been nothing more than empty words.

For almost a year, Lindsey Graham has been talking about Trump helping Ukraine – and nothing has changed. In fact, since Trump became president, russia has increased its attacks on Ukraine tenfold. The United States has largely halted military aid and intelligence sharing, helping to trigger one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes of the war. And, of course, a photo of the war criminal Vladimir Putin now hangs in the White House.

Even the recent so-called “pause” in strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure served only one purpose: to allow russia to stockpile enough missiles and drones for yet another mass attack on Ukraine.

So while I appreciate Lindsey Graham’s rhetoric, words alone will not stop Putin.

Unfortunately, there are still naïve (or even brainwashed) people who believe in Trump’s “peacemaking,” concessions to Putin, and a quick end to the war.

Here is another nail in that coffin. The only purpose the so-called “pause” in strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure served was to allow russia to stockpile enough missiles and drones for yet another mass attack on Ukraine.

Newly released US Justice Department documents show that a pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was described as a “manager of wealth” for Putin.

The files, published Friday, also include letters in which Epstein repeatedly discussed the possibility of meeting Putin.

Russian independent outlet Agentstvo, which reviewed the files, noted that Putin’s name appears more than 1,000 times in the files, while “russia” is mentioned nearly 5,900 times.
