You’re right. One thing for sure is Ukraine has spent a lot of time and effort proving their independence. You’d think just the established dates would be enough. It doesn’t seem possible for a younger state to claim an older state. It is a good weapon against Kremprop knowing we have live tape going back to 1959.
I also noticed the reporter used the word “russia” on the report instead of Soviet Union. Hmmm…
