On March 17, the Russian army suffered its largest daily losses since the beginning of 2026. In just one day, the occupation forces lost 1,710 personnel killed and wounded.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The department noted that the orog tried to use fog to cover the assaults, but this did not help him.
During the day, the occupiers intensified offensive actions on several fronts at once. In particular, the enemy tried to develop an advance in the Zaporizhia region, counting on the weather conditions to help conceal the maneuvers.
However, the Ukrainian defenders were prepared for such a development and managed to repel it. The defense forces held the lines and did not allow the enemy to break through the defense line.
As a result of these battles, the Russian army lost 1,710 people. Thus, March 17 became the most difficult day for the occupiers in terms of daily losses since the beginning of this year.

We would also like to remind you that the Defense Forces significantly “thinned out” the enemy’s air defense in the first half of March, from the 1st to the 15th inclusive . During this period, Ukrainian defenders hit more than 20 targets in the occupied territories of our state and on the lands of the invaders, providing the enemy’s air defense. In particular, anti-aircraft missile systems, radar stations, and large electronic warfare facilities were destroyed.
Each destroyed or disabled air defense, radar, and electronic warfare installation is a “hole” in the enemy’s air defense, which opens up space for our missile strikes and aviation operations.
As OBOZ.UA reported, Ukrainian troops continue to destroy Russian army equipment in temporarily occupied territories. Significant damage was inflicted on enemy targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia region. The defenders destroyed two warehouses – with drones and other logistical support.

I read a Telegram report from Madyar earlier today, in which he descibes how the worms got slaughtered. To him, worms are russians like cockroaches are russians for me.
“Madyar’s Birds” eat worms. 🙂
