The United States has lost money by NOT supporting Ukraine. In fact, it turns out that the United States would have been better off from a purely financial standpoint by simply giving Ukraine billions of dollars rather than the alternative. This is a fact that is now backed by numerous different angles – most clearly in rising energy prices. In this video, I break down the true cost of U.S. military support to Ukraine in their war against Russia and put that in context next to other costs. I also explain the second-order costs of higher future military expenditures and reputational damage that the United States has suffered due to the policies of the Trump administration.
