On the night of October 27, units of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces successfully attacked important Russian army support facilities in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. The Ukrainian military targeted a fuel and lubricants warehouse and an enemy oil depot.
They provided logistical support for the offensive operations of the occupiers, the SSO press service reported.
“On the night of October 27, units of the Special Operations Forces successfully struck at the facilities of the Russian army. The fuel and oil depot were located in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region of Ukraine,” the report says.
The drones struck at the moment the tanks were filled. This not only increased the effectiveness of the strike, but also caused significant material losses to the enemy, limiting his ability to conduct active combat operations at the front.
The operation is an example of asymmetric actions by Ukrainian special forces aimed at stopping and weakening the enemy’s offensive efforts. We will remind you that recently, fighters of the Third Assault Brigade of the Third Army Corps in Luhansk region carried out another successful assault on Russian positions. The defenders captured groups of occupiers who were afraid to surrender and entrenched themselves in the former enemy positions.
As OBOZ.UA reported, earlier Ukrainian special forces made a splash behind enemy lines. Fighters from the 73rd Marine Center of the SSO conducted an operation on Russian territory and ambushed the occupiers.
