The Dutch Ministry of Defense will prepare six more F-16 fighters for delivery to Ukraine .
As reported by the country’s Minister of Defense Kaisa Ollongren, the total number of F-16 aircraft has reached 24 units. “Ukraine needs air superiority to counter Russian aggression,” the minister commented.
As noted by Defensie , these six fighters will be added to the 18 F-16s that are being prepared for delivery to Ukraine. 18 aircraft are destined for the F-16 training center in Romania.VIDEO OF THE DAYPlay Video
Let us recall that at the end of last year the Netherlands began preparations for the transfer of 18 F16 aircraft to Ukraine.
F-16 fighters for Ukraine
The Netherlands leads the “aviation coalition” for Ukraine. Denmark later joined the Dutch efforts. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said her country plans to provide Ukraine with 19 F-16s and, together with the Netherlands, will become the first countries to do so.
Norway and Belgium also joined the “aviation coalition”. On August 20, 2023, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would receive 42 American F-16 fighters .
Training of Ukrainian pilots on American F-16 fighters has already begun.

What the hell is wrong with you, Mike? Why do you claim that’s “worthless”? These are capable fighter planes, and once they arrive, they will strengthen Ukraine’s airforce. That’s nothing to sneer at.

Ok, of course. Those jets shouldn’t come in 2025. Still, that’s a generous donation by the Netherlands, a small country of only 18 million people (less than Ukraine), which has already done a lot to support the fight against RuSSia. A bit more positive response would be appreciated.
I’m concerned about ukrainian lives, not buckets of flowers to Holland or anybody else. Ukraine needs help NOW!!!
