On Sunday, March 1, it became known that the Ukrainian military had broken through enemy defenses on one of the most active sections of the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine opened a bridgehead for advancement in the Oleksandrivka direction.
A spectacular video of the operation was published on the Telegram channel of the Airborne Assault Forces (AAF). It is noted that enemy fire installations, manpower, and occupier ammunition storage sites were also destroyed.
“Ground reconnaissance combat groups “CG132″ of the 132nd separate reconnaissance battalion of the 7th corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces broke through the enemy’s defense line in the Oleksandrivka direction. Thanks to the professional actions of the reconnaissance units, the enemy’s plans for a further offensive were thwarted. Reconnaissance ahead!” – says the caption under the video.
It is worth noting that the Oleksandrivka direction is very important for the enemy due to the possibility of complete occupation of the Donetsk region. It covers the area on the border of the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions.
Earlier it became known that Ukrainian border guards continue to inflict losses on Russian troops at the front. During the next operation, a fuel and lubricants depot, a communications antenna, and several pieces of enemy equipment were hit.
As OBOZ.UA reported, fighters of the Spartan Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed the Russian occupiers along with their transport. The video of the operation demonstrates the effectiveness of the actions of the Ukrainian units.
