On the evening of January 21, Russia reported a drone attack. Explosions were heard and oil tanks (at least four) caught fire on the territory of port terminals near the village of Volna in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.
The shelling was confirmed by local governor Veniamin Kondratyev. He claims that at least two employees of the enterprise were killed, and there are also injured.
Kondratyev lamented: Kuban has been subjected to massive attacks for the second day in a row. He cynically lied about allegedly “civilian” targets being shelled.
“Today (Wednesday, January 21. – Ed.) in the evening, the port terminals in the village of Volna, Temryuk district, were hit… Now there is a fire on the territory of the terminals, four tanks with petroleum products have caught fire.
“97 people and 29 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences, including employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry,” the official reported.
According to preliminary information, the attack occurred during the shipment of petroleum products onto one of the tankers.
