Ukraine’s Security Service targeted command posts, logistics hubs, and drone infrastructure deep behind enemy lines using heavy FP-2 UAVs
Operators of the Alpha Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine have carried out a series of precision strikes against key elements of russian military infrastructure deep behind the front line. Footage released by the agency documents coordinated nighttime attacks targeting command, logistics, and production facilities.
According to the Security Service, the operation focused on degrading the enemy’s command-and-control architecture. Four headquarters and command posts were struck, alongside four additional command-observation points. Disrupting such nodes can fragment decision-making chains, delay operational responses, and reduce battlefield coordination.
The strikes also targeted three locations used to station personnel, including units linked to russia’s Federal Security Service special forces. Hitting deployment areas in the rear complicates troop rotation cycles and undermines force readiness.
In a notable development, one facility reportedly involved in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles was destroyed. As both sides increasingly rely on drones for reconnaissance and strike missions, targeting manufacturing infrastructure represents an attempt to erode the enemy’s long-term operational capacity.
Logistics hubs were also under pressure. Two fuel and lubricants depots, a dedicated ammunition warehouse, and a logistics hub were struck during the operation. Such facilities are critical for sustaining offensive actions, and their destruction can constrain mobility and resupply efforts.
Additionally, two UAV launch positions were hit, potentially limiting the enemy’s ability to conduct drone strikes or reconnaissance missions in the near term. By focusing on both infrastructure and operational assets, the strikes appear designed to produce cascading effects across multiple levels of military activity.
The attacks were reportedly conducted using FP-2 unmanned aerial systems developed by Fire Point, equipped with 105-kg warheads. The scale of the payload suggests an emphasis on hardened or high-value targets. Taken together, the operation illustrates a deliberate strategy of striking deep-support structures to complicate command, logistics, and preparation for future offensives.
